BAD IS BAD IF I PLUG IN ANOTHER NEW ONE IN THE SAME SPOT IT WORKS. AFTER WORKING IN FEB AND JUNE I STILL HAVE 4 DEFECTIVE UNITS AND THEY SAY WE STILL CAN NOT CALL THEM BAD.

I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING THEY ASKED MADE SURE I WAS NOT ON A POWER STRIP I HAD TO DRAW THE LINE WHEN I WAS ASKED TO PLUG DIRECTLY INTO THE SERVER.IT WILL NOT LIGHT A LIGHT ON ANY NETWORK SWITCH I HAVE PUT IT ON A BRAND NEW SWITCH SINCE THEY DO NOT THINK I KNOW HOW TO PLUG IN A NETWORK CABLE. I AM NOT GETTING A WIRED NETWORK CONNECTION. I HAVE FLASHED EACH ONE EVEN THOUGHT THEY DON'T NEED IT PER SUPPORT. Overall I would recommend this printer.Ĭons: THE WORST SUPPORT AFTER EXPLAINING I HAVE SETUP OVER 50 OF THESE KNOW THE UNITS QUITE WELL. The printer itself has a very small footprint, is easy to load and change labels and performs very well. For the most part I will be making basic labels that do not need weather resistance. The replacement cartridges are pretty expensive if you are looking to do weather resistant labels.

I have used portable label makers that waste so much label that it gets too expensive to refill. Being that this printer is a thermal printer, there are no ink cartridges to buy. The continuous labels automatically position themselves so there is nearly 0 waste. I like that this printer has almost no waste. The software does take a little getting used to if you have never used brother products. It connects to my WIFI network flawlessly. They adhere well to most surfaces and the print is very clear. The sample labels it comes with is enough to get you started out of the box. Overall Review: I bought this printer with the intentions of printing barcodes, shipping labels and other things.
